I put this on the #BlackLivesMatter tag for a specific reason. 94% of Black women voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. We knew what was at stake. The lost of the Supreme court and overturning Roe vs. Wade was what we feared: because overturning abortion in Texas will be followed by a campaign to force the sterilization of Black and Brown women. We've watched this happen before, and it will happen again.

So when we tell you to VOTE, get your lazy ass up and VOTE. This is NOT a fucking game and some of us don't have the PRIVILEGE to vote 3rd party and sit a vote out. Vote during the midterms in 2022 and make damn sure these motherfuckers know...you are NOT going down without a fight.

Don't let the Texas governor (Greg Abbott) get away with this.

Fight back, anyway you can.

We look out for each other.

The CW seires “Batwoman” has found its Poison Ivy in Bridget Regan. The iconic DC supervillain will appear in the show’s third season, Variety has learned.

Regan will appear on “Batwoman” in a recurring guest star role. This is not her first time in a live-action comic book series, having previously appeared on the ABC series “Agent Carter.”

In the series Poison Ivy, a.k.a Pamela Isley, is as former botany student of Gotham University described as a passionate, brilliant scientist with a mind for changing the world for the better. But her plans shifted when she was experimented on by a colleague, injected with various plant toxins which turned her into the infamous Batman villain Poison Ivy. With a formidable power coursing through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right, even if Batman and those closest to her disagreed with her dangerous methods. Now effectively wiped off the board for years, Batwoman and the Bat Team must prepare themselves for Poison Ivy to return with a vengeance.

Batwoman returns with its third season on October 13, 2021 on The CW.

Anthony Mackie has closed a deal to carry the shield and his first superhero picture in Captain America 4, sources said.

Marvel Studios keeps its details well under wraps and it isn’t clear whether the movie will involve Sebastian Stan, who starred with him in the Disney+ limited series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The series involved Falcon’s conflict in taking on the superhero persona of Captain America. Mackie played Falcon in five films beginning with Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Captain America 4 is being scripted by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman, along with series staff writer Dalan Musson

A director hasn’t yet been set for Mackie’s film.

I feel quite grateful to be able to present a show to the world that humanises us right now. I think that since the media has really even existed, it has dehumanised black people. In many ways, it’s dehumanised and disempowered women. To be within the media, to challenge that, and to present us as fluid, multi-dimensional human people, just like everybody else, feels like a really amazing privilege.
